June 12, 2011

After 3 days of effort it's finally finished lol! Took me a while to figure out my new editing program, but it's definitely worth it!

The Easiest Smokey Eye EVER!! (no... seriously!)

Smokey eyes are ALWAYS in style, which is one of the main reasons it has stayed to popular over the years. The effect of this look will change your face dramatically, with ability to turn the cutest "girl next door" into a "life of the party" bombshell!

Remember that when doing your smokey eye look to keep your hair and eye color  in mind, as well as your skin tone
The standard smokey eye colors are, of course black and grey, but don't limit yourself, have fun with it! (^_^) For blue eyes try purple, violet or dark blue shadows. If you're a brown eyed babe like me, spice it up with coffee, copper or golden tones, and for green or hazel eyed beauties play around with purple, dark khaki, dark green, or plum shades!

When creating your smokey eye remember to use powdery eye shadows since they're easier to smudge. I also find that using shimmer shadows help create a beautiful fade effect without having to blend a lot. Less work for us = a good thing lol!

Keeping your lips as natural looking as possible is the best way to make your smokey eyes pop! The contrast is nothing short of stunning, so try using a light rosy pink or caramel shade to complete the look. (The middle pic above is tooo funny for words LOL so I couldn't resist including it... I guess that's my pouty vixen look *eye roll*) :D

Want more Mia Mischief? You're in luck! (^_^)
